Alarm Signal Receiving Centre Management

  • The cSecurity application is fully compatible with all types of communication protocols worldwide. From the oldest to to the most recent, there is no protocol that can hinder the reception of signals from any alarm system.
  • Protocol management gives your system unlimited capabilities by even allowing the addition of custom (personalized) communication protocols. It also allows the structural change of any active communication protocol that has been registered in your system.
  • There is absolutely no limit to the number of permissible communication protocols that can be registered in, and support your system.
  • The cSecurity application supports all alarm system communication protocols and enables connection with any type of alarm signal receiver unit. It supports telephone line signal receivers as much as the new technology IP or GPRS network receivers while enabling the connection of any receiver either via COM port or via an IP network.
  • Signal Receiver Management offers unlimited ease in defining the exact method of connection and communication for each connected receiver unit to the system. Additionally, a non-communication time can be defined for each receiver separately so that the operators can be automatically alerted in case of communication loss with the receiver.
  • As with the communication protocols, an unlimited number of signal receiver units can be connected and monitored.
  • The innovation of cSecurity lies in the way it communicates with each connected alarm signal receiver. Although there is only one application for signal recovery, it achieves independent communication with each receiver separately.
  • The reading of each receiver is done on a completely independent process, thus allowing exact simultaneous signal reception from all receivers on the system without one delaying the other.
  • In this way, the time reception achieved is negligible, almost zero, while at the same time it ensures the integrity of the receiving device enabling the isolation of any receiver unit that is faulty or delays communication.
  • Each received alarm signal that requires processing alerts the system operators immediately and is placed in a standard list of unprocessed signals.
  • The distinction between the unprocessed signals is done either by order of time or priority. In any case, the system ensures the integrity of each and every unprocessed signal and promptly alerts as to any change in its situation.
  • An unprocessed signal can only be bound by one system operator. It remains in his holding, handling by other users is not allowed, until processing has been completed or the signal has been released and returned to the waiting list.
  • The cSecurity application enables you to register and update a complete tab for each protected premises (customer).
  • Each of the protected premises is provided with personalized features such as: Identification details, help telephone numbers, other contact details, alarm system and peripheral devices, communication and status history as well as keeping permanent and temporary notes.
  • At the same time, signals and zones that may be sent from any alarm system, of any customer, are updated separately and specify each system, allowing the reception of multiple protocols per protected premises.

  • Time intervals can be defined for each protected premises in which certain signals will be expected, (example: unarmed or disarmed status) or signal reception prohibited (example: arming or disarming outside of working hours).

  • This is mainly achieved by setting up and monitoring a periodic signal test that is transmitted by the alarm system. Even in the case that a system does not support the transmission of a periodic signal test, communication control is achieved based on the reception of the last signal.
  • The IP or GPRS systems offer you the ability of defining regular intervals (heartbeat signal) per subscriber for periodic signal communication standby.

  • One of the most important subsystems in cSecurity application is the Task and Communication Calendar between operators. This is no ordinary task calendar, but instead is an advanced multi-tool with multiple applications designed to provide specific services to all company departments.
  • Its main function is managing tasks and reminders at an operator or departmental level, but subject and task categorization play a key part in this feature and task search is immediate and accurate.
  • With the aid of categorization, this calendar has multiple uses. Even though various tasks such as monitoring subscribers outstanding financial debts, communication history with subscribers and management of periodic battery replacement for protected premises, are managed through independent tools of the system, their function and periodicity are based on the structure and use of the task calendar.

  • Likewise with protocol management, the administrator can define any type of communication protocol even if it is non-standard or custom.
  • This is an independent application, part of the cSecurity platform, responsible for executing periodic processes for data processing, producing and sending reports and statistics.
  • The processes are executed independently but work in supporting and supplementing mass processing.
  • Automatic signal processing, communication control for subscribers, mass and automated contact via email or SMS, producing and sending periodical reports, extracting statistical data, maintenance procedures are indicative processes used in the application.
  • This application is similar with the previous stated. It also works independently and ensures that all necessary data will be smoothly synchronized with the platform's Web Tool.
  • It executes all the procedures required to connect via internet with the web server that hosts the business associates tool. All additions and modification that are made on the cSecurity application in relation to data that are presented on the associates web tool, are directly transferred via the automatic synchronization procedures.
  • Furthermore, bidirectional procedures that support web tool interactivity are also executed. These procedures include, receiving and controlling data change requests or requests for alarm testing that associates may ask for via the web tool and the immediate notification of alarm signal receiving centre operators for each request.

Subscriber Management

  • The cSecurity application can be configured and perfectly synchronized with any commercial application in any manner, either directly or indirectly.

  • The application allows the management of goods, services and raw materials that are traded and marketed, management of prospective customers, suppliers and the purchases made from them, through similar forms.
  • Moreover, it offers management of company salespersons, both internal and external, categorization of services offered and default commission rates for each salesperson per promoted service.
  • The registration of purchase invoices for goods and raw materials from suppliers, in addition to stock availability, automatically update the history record of suppliers purchase price lists.

  • This tool is very important in monitoring signals during periods of testing subscribers systems. It gives immediate results and bypasses the telephone communication between the associate and the alarm centre.
  • An equally important tool is the management of test periods on subscribers systems.
  • Each associate can register a time period of testing for a specific subscriber with a maximum duration of 4 hours and start time 4 hours since time of registration. The request is registered and sent to the alarm centre for checking and approval.
  • The associate is constantly updated on the status of their request for testing, as well as for the time period that signal testing will remain active. At any time they may make a request for terminating any work and testing which again has to be approved and registered by the alarm centre.
  • Rejected requests or completed periods of testing can be deleted at the option of the subscriber, or remain in the list as a history reference.
